Spicy Chicken Crunchwrap Supreme Review - College Downtime Random Ass Review

Spicy Chicken Crunchwrap Supreme Review

Eleven months ago Taco Hell unleashed the greatest drunk food dish of all time in the form of the Crunwrap Supreme. Just a few days ago they unveiled the sequel: the Spicy Chicken Crunchwrap Supreme. Sitting on my couch after a hard day's work of strenuous updating and College Downtime maintenence, my mind raced and I started to drool. Is it really possible? Did they really take the greatest drunk food of all time and make it even better? From a man that loves his mexican food muy picante, seeing this commercial really did make me salivate because the prequel was that good. Now that they've concocted one with shredded spicy chicken instead of beef, I had to try it immediately. Within minutes I had it home in front of me, ready to be tasted.

Sadly, I was let down, but let me explain why. As I mentioned above I'm emphatically obessed with spicy foods, so naturally when I saw this new Taco Bell creation my expectations were sky-high. While spicy to you probably isn't spicy to me, the Bell's "spicy chicken" is total weak sauce; pun intended. Hell, even their fire sauce isn't even spicy. In retrospect, this review may have been a little biased since it's based upon the fact of whether it was spicy or not, since we all agree that the original Crunchwrap Supreme kicks ass in the taste category. Does the Spicy Chicken Crunchwrap Supreme taste good? Definately. Is it spicy? Not at all. Is it worth buying? Sure, although personally I'd rather have the original over the sequel. However if down the line they come out with one that's actually spicy, wink wink to Taco Bell HQ, then we'd have a winner. Until then, I say stick with the regular version.
