The Girls Next Door Season 3 Episode 1 'Snow Place Like Home' Review

Hef's got a rough life. If you're ever having a bad day, and you feel like jumping off the local bridge just stop and thank God you're not in Hugh Hefner's shoes. I mean seriously, as shitty as your life may be right now, at least you're not stuck hanging out with half-naked to fully-naked Playboy models and forced to wear itchy, extremely uncomfortable silk pajamas all day. Then there's the mansion thing; who wants to walk a friggin mile just to get something out of the fridge? How economical is that? I'll take my 800 square foot apartment any day; fuck the Playboy Mansion. Before I take this any further let me clear things up: I'm not gay, just really, really sarcastic and depressed after watching the first episode of season three on "The Girls Next Door", entitled "Snow Place Like Home". I'm not gonna lie; I originally thought I was receiving review copies of the entire third season, not just the first episode. I feel like Eric Foreman on "That 70's Show" getting yelled at by Red, "You dumbass!" Oh well, since we don't have a channel for television (yet?) here at College Downtime, I figured this would be a perfect fit for the Random Ass Reviews. So on that note, let's drop the sarcasm, stupidity, and depression and get down to biznass.

"Snow Place Like Home", the first episode of season three, follows the girls as they get ready for another Christmas at the Playboy Mansion. Since apparently none of Hef's entourage of girlfriends have ever seen snow before, Hugh decides to order a snowmaking company to drop a couple tons of fresh powder on his front lawn ... even though it's 70 degrees out and sunny. That couldn't have cost much; maybe like what, twenty bucks? I gotta admit that while I'm not a fan of reality shows, "The Girls Next Door" is pretty cool to watch because aside from all the dressing up dogs crap it really gives you an incredible glimpse at what really goes on inside the coveted Playboy Mansion. "Snow Place Like Home", the first episode of the latest season gives viewers an awesome look at just that, and more specifically how things are ran during the Christmas season. Oh and of course, you get to stare at Playboy models the whole time which ain't too bad either. Overall a very funny episode, and now I'm looking forward to catching the rest on television. Heed my advice and watch this show!
