Sigh. After waiting for this movie to arrive in theatres for well over a year, I have to say I'm a little let down. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the movie and you should go see it; it's just not what I was expecting. Maybe my expectations were too high, maybe I was just having a shitty day, I don't really know. Since "Old School" came out, I think I've been comparing all these similar movies to it which is wrong, but I've had no other choice. I think the real problem why I barely laughed watching Wedding Crashers is the fact that Vince Vaughn continues to play essentially the exact same character over, and over again. On top of that, all these recent comedies - Old School, Anchorman, Dodgeball, Wedding Crashers, etc, all use nearly the exact same cast. I think Old School has simply spoiled this little Irish webmaster; it's made me brain think that any time a new movie with Vince Vaughn, Will Ferrell, and one of the Wilson brothers comes out it's going to be the funniest movie ever. So what's my point with all this ranting? Before you see Wedding Crashers, keep telling yourself it's going to be shitty and not worth the outrageous movie theatre ticket prices. With that mentality, you'll absolutely love this film. You can thank me later

If you're unfamiliar with the storyline behind this mediocre Summer comedy, let me give you a brief synopsis before you load up on the movie popcorn. Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson work as divorce mediators during the week, and over the weekends they crash local weddings to sleep with women. When the duo crashes the daughter's wedding of the hilarious Christopher Walken, Wilson falls in love with one of the bridesmaids and the two get roped into a weekend at the Walken vacation home. Over the weekend, trouble brews and the true comedy of this film really shines as both of them are put into hilarious situations that you can't help but laugh at. Walken plays the role of a prominent politician, while his daughter is played by Rachel McAdams. As mentioned earlier, Will Ferrell also makes a short cameo in the film. Wedding Crashers has a fantastic storyline, and packs an incredible cast, yet for some reason the laughter was missing. What went wrong exactly? That question can only be answered by you, because although this movie falls far short, it will still make you laugh and is definately worth seeing this Summer.
