Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector Review
Paramount (Film)
2006

Larry the Cable Guy has finally hit the big time. First came the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, and now he's got his own feature film. While the film itself was hilarious and well worth the outrageous movie ticket prices these days, the DVD of the film falls a little short. If you were hoping for hours upon hours of special features, or even just an hour for that matter, prepare for disappointment. The entire running time of the feature film runs at 90 minutes long, and the track length of all one special feature runs a total of 13 and a half minutes. The only extra you get is a 13 and a half minute behind the scenes look of the making of the film, and I'm sorry but that doesn't "Git-R-Done" in my book. On the other hand, it's nice to see Paramount throw in both widescreen and fullscreen formats on the same DVD, as that doesn't happen very often for some reason.

If you liked the film, then by all means this DVD is for you. If you're looking for a ginormous buffet of special features and extras to go along with the feature film, I'm sorry to report that there really isn't any. Sad to see really, especially for such a stellar film.
