What makes a drama series popular? Lots of drama! In the poor, trailer park-ridden neighborhood of Laguna Beach you'll find nothing but it as you watch the second season of MTV's mega-hit series unfold on your television screen. Everyone's favorite character Kristin is now a senior in high school, Stephen is now a freshman in college, and LC's an intern; don't expect the drama to taper off however because the second season might very well be more dramatic than the first. In this epic three disc box set the cast begins to take sides, leading to lies, backstabbing, and lots of promiscuous activity that causes plenty of crying, bitching, and evil looks. But enough of the obvious already; we all know how good Laguna Beach is. How good is the season two box set? Are there enough special features thrown in there to make this a worthwhile purchase for a non-Laguna Beach resident's budget?

Yes, this three disc boxed set is definately worth it. In fact, I have yet to come across a television series on DVD that has as many special features as "Laguna Beach: The Complete Second Season" comes equipped with. Across three discs you'll be soaking in tons of deleted scenes that never made it on television, lots of cast interviews with all your favorite characters, the Laguna Guide to Love, casting tapes as well as cast home videos and childhood photos, and much more. Quite possibly the biggest perk to picking up season two's box set is that you get a delicious season three preview; that alone is reason enough to get it. I could probably write another two or three paragraphs on all the other extra features this boxed set comes jam packed with, but I think you get the idea already.

"Laguna Beach: The Complete Second Season" combines an already stellar show with out of this world special features, making this one of the best and most complete boxed sets to date.
