Nothing lasts forever. Even hit television series like "The Dukes of Hazzard" eventually came to an end, however, with the invention of the DVD you can now revisit every episode whenever your little heart desires. Warner Bros has just recently unveiled the seventh and final season of "The Dukes of Hazzard" on DVD, and it's truly one to remember. Spanning across 17 episodes, you'll get to revisit all those great memories of learning how the General Lee joined the Duke family, seeing Sheriff Rosco's crazy replacement for the first time, and watching as Enos and Daisy finally get married. Ahh Daisy, you can't forget her as she's reason enough to pick this seventh and final season up right now. Jessica Simpson wouldn't have a movie career if it weren't for Daisy, although I don't think many people were complaining; that however, is for another time and place haha.
The complete seventh season of "The Dukes of Hazzard" is really a must have for any fan of the original show. It was disappointing to pop this one into my DVD player only to see that they only included three weak special features though: a tribute to Waylon Jennings, a new "Good Ol' Boys" music video, and a "making of" the same music video. You'd think for the final season of one of the most popular shows of the 1980's they'd have a little more added on, wouldn't you? Oh well, maybe they're saving all the good bonus material for some mega box set or something. Regardless, this is still a must buy if you love the show, otherwise your're better off just renting it.
