Embarrassing Moment - A Cheerleader's Blind Date

Let's see... My most embarrassing story would have to be this one:

I was 17 years old and one of my real close friends fixed me up on a blind date. Well, I talked to the guy a few times on the phone prior to this date, and when describing himself to me I was so excited. He was on the football team, basketball team, and he was a weight lifter. I thought, oh yeah real hunk!! I was a cheerleader, and barely weighed 115 pounds.

So this guy comes to my door, and when I opened it I saw a 300 pound guy standing there, with nasty shoes on. Honestly the white on the shoes were black, and his mouth was full of skoal. Therefore I thought he was there to go hunting with my older brother, so I said, "Hold on I'll get him".

Then my brother came in my room and said your date is here, so I hurried to the door, but to my suprise it was the same guy. I was horrified. I mean I do not claim to be a beauty queen , but Lord he must have meant he was the water boy for the Football and Basketball teams, and the only weights he had been lifting were his fork and spoon.

To make matters worse I got sick enough to puke when he smiled and his teeth were greenish yellow!! Then my parents called two of my really close Uncles, and while I sat on the front porch with this guy, they would drive by laughing with their windows down so I could hear them!!

I cancelled our trip to the movies, because I was sick, and I told him maybe we could hook up some other time, and when he tried to kiss me, I picked up my pet cat and kissed him right in the mouth with the hopes of making him think I was nasty, and it worked!!

So my advice to everyone...NEVER accept a blind date invitation unless you know what the other person looks like, and never trust your friends to pick a guy out for you!!! Nine years later, and I still laugh about that like it was yesterday!
